Frequently Asked Questions
Is this therapy?
No. While I draw from therapeutic modalities like somatic therapy and parts work, this is not clinical therapy. I do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. My services are educational, supportive, and integrative—designed to complement your healing journey, not replace clinical care.
What is somatic wellness support?
Somatic wellness is grounded in the body’s role in healing. I use gentle, body-based practices to help regulate the nervous system, build self-awareness, and reconnect with a sense of safety, presence, and agency.
Who do you work with?
I support caregivers, cycle-breakers, neurodivergent folks, and anyone navigating chronic stress, burnout, anxiety, or disconnection. If you’re seeking trauma-informed tools and compassionate support, you're in the right place.
Do you accept insurance?
No. These services are not medical or psychotherapeutic and are not eligible for insurance reimbursement. However, some clients may use HSA/FSA cards depending on their provider’s guidelines.
What can I expect in a session?
Each session is collaborative. We’ll explore your goals and needs, use somatic practices and parts mapping, and co-create sustainable tools for regulation, reflection, and growth. Sessions are paced gently and respectfully.
Can I see you for mental health medication or diagnosis?
Not at this time. I am currently in training to become a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP, expected 2026). Once licensed, I will offer mind-body psychiatric care. For now, I offer non-clinical, wellness-based services only.
How do I know if this is right for me?
If you’re craving something more embodied, intentional, and integrative—especially if traditional talk therapy hasn’t felt quite right—this space may be a great fit. I also offer free consults to explore what’s best for you.
What’s the difference between somatic coaching and therapy?
Coaching focuses on present-day goals, patterns, and embodied awareness. It is not treatment for mental health diagnoses, though it can be deeply healing. Therapy typically involves clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
Do you work with children or parents?
I primarily work with adults, especially parents and caregivers who are navigating their own healing while raising children. While I don’t provide direct services to children, I offer somatic tools and trauma-informed support that can help you show up with more regulation, connection, and intention at home.
What if I have a history of trauma?
You're not alone—and you're not too much. This space is built with trauma in mind. Whether your trauma is named or unspoken, recent or generational, we’ll move at a pace that honors your capacity. Everything offered here is grounded in nervous system safety, self-trust, and compassion.
